Amway released its 2023 Global Entrepreneurship Report. The study covered 15,000 adults in 15 countries worldwide.

Amway chief executive officer Milind Pant spoke with CNBC-TV18, a leading business news channel in India, about the company’s global outlook, and his investment plan for the Indian market.

Amway China announced its commitment to a five-year project that will upgrade the basic infrastructure and production facilities in its production base in Guangzhou. The $87 million investment is expected to strengthen the company’s existing R&D capabilities, promote cooperation with other brands within the Chinese health industry and leverage the region’s advantages within the biomedical industry.

Amway announced the appointment of Peter Strydom as the new chief marketing officer. Strydom will be responsible for developing product and digital experiences that inspire brand loyalty, empower Amway Business Owners as they continue building customer relationships and drive sustained growth across Amway’s portfolio of brands. Strydom will be leading a global team dedicated to creating customized online, mobile and social consumer experiences.

As part of its strategic expansion in Asia, Amway announced the opening of its Singapore Business Innovation Hub in the Central Business District, in partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).

Amway organized an in-person and live-streamed birthday party and invited its independent business owners (IBOs) and employees from around the world to participate in the festivities. Amway has committed to a second-round investment with Holzapfel Effective Microbes (HEM), a company that supports people with incurable diseases related to microbiome disfunction.

Beginning today, Amway will be shuttering operations in Russia. The company stated that it would be focused on “providing support to those impacted by this decision, and on treating all with openness, dignity, and respect while meeting our contractual and statutory obligations”.
