Coway announced that its Icon Pro Water Purifier has been honored at the 2025 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), marking the company’s 16th consecutive year of recognition.

MLM business Coway was honored by the International Forum (iF) Design Award 2025 in the Product Design category for its sophisticated design and innovative air purification technologies. This is the 18th consecutive year that Coway has received an iF Design Award.

Coway received placement on the 2023 Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific), which evaluates companies for their ESG efforts. Of the 609 companies evaluated, 156 were selected. Coway is the only Korean company selected within the Household Durables Industry category.

Coway Co., Ltd. was recognized with three awards at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2023, an event that recognizes and celebrates products and companies that are pioneering innovative ways to improve daily life.

Coway Co., Ltd. has been named a CES 2023 Innovation Awards honoree by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). This annual competition recognizes groundbreaking technology from around the world and reviews products for their innovation, engineering, functionality, aesthetics and design.

Coway Co. announced the launch of BEREX, its new sleep and wellness line. Combining the words “bed” and “relax,” the new brand name expresses the company’s belief that sleep and rest are basic human necessities as important as water and breathing.

Coway Co. will begin construction of a solar power plant in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on the roof of iOBED, the company’s subsidiary, in early 2023. This new plant is estimated to provide an annual capacity of 800 KWh and will play an important role in Coway’s ESG initiatives, which seek to minimize the negative environmental impacts of the company’s operations and reinforce its sustainability efforts.

Coway Co., Ltd. was recognized at the Good Design Awards, hosted by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) for three of its home appliance products, including the Icon Ice Water Purifier (CHPI-7400N), NOBLE Humidifier (AM-1421G), and the air purifier Airmega ProX (AP-3522E/F).

Coway Ltd. has earned AA in the 2022 MSCI ESG ratings. MSCI, an organization that provides critical decision support tools and services, uses a rules-based methodology to determine companies’ exposures to environment, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities.

Business Coway has been included in the 2021 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI) for the sixth consecutive year. The DJSI assesses governance, economic, environmental and social performance and features companies across 61 industries.
