MONAT, through its philanthropic organization MONAT Gratitude Foundation, focused on contributing acts of kindness and charitable giving in celebration of its eighth annual Gratitude Week. More than 5,000 MONAT volunteers served in 1,200 cities and eight countries in an effort to be of service to those in need.

In total, 2,975 MONAT participants donated essential items to local shelters; 1,955 participants gave financial contributions to charities; 1,845 MONAT representatives volunteered in their community and 3,335 participants reported performing acts of kindness for friends or strangers.

MONAT members created care packages and organized gifts for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program in Florida and prepared dinner for families at Ronald McDonald House Miami. Globally, MONAT Australia’s corporate team served at Pocket City Farms, which promotes sustainable urban farming practices and provides meals for underprivileged households, and MONAT Canada’s corporate team lifted spirits by spending the day with residents of the Gibson Long Term Care Residence in Toronto and delivering coffee and donuts to fire stations and police headquarters.

– In today’s world, the need for kindness and gratitude has never been more pressing. Acts of compassion and gestures of thankfulness are the keys to illuminating the path forward. Together, we want to create a movement of kindness, generosity and giving – said Lu Urdaneta, MONAT Gratitude CEO.
