IGNITE Social Enterprise has officially entered Sub-Saharan Africa, beginning with Ghana, and appointed Ghanaian media entrepreneur and business leader Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, widely known as Bola Ray, to its global advisory board.

The appointment forms part of IGNITE’s broader international expansion strategy and brings one of Ghana’s most prominent media and entertainment entrepreneurs into the company’s global leadership advisory network. Bola Ray joins a global advisory board that includes Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, Dr. Beverly Rubik and Dato Sri Subahan Kamal, bringing expertise spanning science, business leadership, governance and international markets.

With more than two decades of experience in broadcasting, entertainment and brand building, Bola Ray is CEO of EIB Network Group and Empire Entertainment. His career includes becoming the first African to host Top of the Pops on BBC Radio and leading Joy FM’s Drive Time Show to major national influence.

Young people and micro-entrepreneurs across Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa are already shaping the future of business, culture, and technology. What many still need are the practical tools, trusted partners, and global platforms to turn their talent into sustainable opportunity” said Bola Ray.

According to IGNITE, its social commerce model combines wellness and lifestyle products with digital learning and entrepreneurship opportunities. A key component is brAInify, the company’s AI-powered learning and skills platform, which is designed to help individuals develop practical digital, business and financial capabilities.

IGNITE’s social e-commerce model, featuring wellness and lifestyle products, combined with brAInify’s AI-powered learning, gives the next generation a way to build brands, earn income, and gain real-world skills from wherever they are” comment Bola Ray.

IGNITE says Ghana represents a key frontier market as it develops its presence across Sub-Saharan Africa. The company says its regional strategy will focus on market education, responsible growth, transparent engagement with stakeholders, consumer protection and compliance, while working constructively with relevant regulators and public institutions.

Sub-Saharan Africa is one of the most dynamic regions in the world, with a young, connected population and a powerful culture of entrepreneurship. As IGNITE enters Ghana and the wider SSA market, the priority is clear: operate as a responsible, people-first social e-commerce company that adds real value to consumers, partners, and institutions said Adly Hassan, founding partner at IGNITE Social Enterprise.

Hassan added that IGNITE’s long-term objective is to create greater access to products, education and entrepreneurship opportunities while maintaining transparent compensation for its brand affiliates and a strong commitment to compliance and consumer protection.
