How to be successful in MLM business? Only super-dense basics on Network Marketing. Part 1

by Maciej Maciejewski

What are the four things you MUST DO to be successful in MLM business? Without those four elements you’ll only waste your time and energy. For the purpose of his publication, I will use a story from Don Failla’s book, “The Basics How to build a Large Successful Multilevel Marketing Organization”.

Imagine that you and your family are going on a road trip. The place doesn’t matter, what matters is that the journey will be long. Let’s say, you’ll be driving 2,000 km. It requires adequate preparation. However, we’ll talk about it in a moment…

The first thing you need to do is to get in the car. The author of the story used the context of a car to illustrate that if you want to be successful in MLM system, you first need to join a particular business in the field that you’re interested in.

Usually joining an MLM business comes with a one-time entry fee. Every business has a different threshold for entering. For example, to join the company I am in you need to purchase products for a minimum of PLN 350. This amount contains many opportunities. One of them is that from now on you become an online shop owner. The site is translated in 13 different languages, and it contains plenty of useful tools that support building an online business. Almost all MLM companies offer such things these days.

The second thing you need to do is to buy fuel. You won’t get far without fuel. What did the author mean? You need to use the products on a regular basis to test them, and to be the living example of your product’s effectiveness and its ability to resolve problems of the target group. If you don’t do that, you won’t be able to convince anyone that the product you offer is good and can help anyone.

The third thing to do is to put in gear. Remember, you can’t start on the fifth gear (you’ll break the gear box). You always start in first gear. It means that your job is to acquire the first partner for the business and that you need to repeat that process from 2 to 5 times. Why? I’ll explain that in the next article concerning the duplication process.

The fourth thing is to share opinions about products. Share your story about using the products, show your audience how the product has helped you (perhaps even changed your life?). Then look for the first clients among your family and friends. Remember, you can take a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Just share your story about the products and ask – do you want to regain your health and feel better?

You shouldn’t try to force things! If someone says no, respect their decision and ask another person. Don’t try to convince them, don’t force it!

Here’s an important tip! Don’t look for salespeople who just want to sell products! You will need those people too, of course, but not at the beginning of your MLM journey. For starters, find people who understand the idea behind the system, those who are interested in MLM, and who are ready to test products and earn extra PLN 200-500 monthly. Point out that it will only take them a couple of hours per week!

Go with every single one of your partners through the four steps outlined above. I can guarantee you that, over time, your structure will get bigger, and you will have much higher profits than the 200-500 monthly. If you’ve reached the end of this article, thank you for your time and attention. I appreciate every small gesture. Hugs and kisses, Adrian.
