Effective March 31, 2023, Nikken will close its operations in Europe after 27 years. The wellness company will focus its business on its North American, Latin American and Japanese markets. Since opening in Europe in 1996, independent consultants there have provided Nikken’s products and services.

4Life has finalized the second phase of its manufacturing strategy in Vineyard, Utah with the completion of a new manufacturing building, which began construction in October 2021. The new facility, built adjacent to its existing 48,500 square foot manufacturing plant, adds an additional 58,300 square feet and will create 20 new jobs.

Mary Kay Inc. presented new findings on the benefits of a botanical leaf extract at the American Society of Nutrition’s Annual Conference. The company’s research found that, when included in nutritional drinks containing protein, fat and fiber, the benefits of a botanical leaf extract could have a “significant impact on our understanding of botanical leaf extract rich in polysaccharides, flavonoids, alkaloids, and 1-deoxynojirimycin and other active components to lower glucose response and satiety in consumers”.
