Oriflame, a direct selling & network marketing company headquartered in Sweden, announced its fourth quarter and full year 2021 financial results. Included in the report was a sales decline of 12% in 2021, although this drop was significantly less in the fourth quarter than in the third. Adjusted EBITDA also decreased, which was impacted by lower sales and increased inflation, but offset by lowered marketing and administrative expenses.

Medifast Inc. – the parent company for DS/MLM health and wellness subsidiary OPTAVIA, reported annual revenue of $1.526 billion in 2021, a 63.2% increase over the previous year. Net income also saw enormous gains of 59.5% to equal $164 million. EPS for the year was $13.89, a 60% increase over 2020 levels.

Hot financial news! Herbalife Nutrition reports largest annual net sales in company history in 2021
Herbalife Nutrition released its full year 2021 financial results, reporting net sales of $5.8 billion, a 4.7% increase over 2020 and the largest annual net sales in company history. Diluted EPS ($4.13), adjusted diluted EPS ($4.79), reported net income ($447.2 million) and adjusted EBITDA ($873.5 million) also beat annual company record highs.

The Canadian Academic Entrepreneur Challenge announced the winning teams of its inaugural contest. A team of post-secondary students representing Trinity-Western University in Langley, British Columbia, won the top $2,500 prize, for their “wellness rings and comprehensive direct-to-consumer distribution strategy”.
