With this announcement, the company made significant strides to meet its ESG goal to transition its owned manufacturing facilities to 100% renewable energy sources by 2023. The switch to solar energy is also a move toward achieving other ESG goals, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2025, zero waste to landfill by 2025 at U.S. distribution centers, and a 33% waste reduction at manufacturing facilities by 2025.
