Raypath, PM-International, Nu Skin, Oriflame, Amway, Young Living, 4Life… A number of direct selling & network marketing (DS/MLM) companies released statements this week announcing their efforts to provide relief for the people of Ukraine as well as strong declarations denouncing Russia’s actions.

Oriflame, a direct selling & network marketing company headquartered in Sweden, announced its fourth quarter and full year 2021 financial results. Included in the report was a sales decline of 12% in 2021, although this drop was significantly less in the fourth quarter than in the third. Adjusted EBITDA also decreased, which was impacted by lower sales and increased inflation, but offset by lowered marketing and administrative expenses.

The last two years, with many problems related to the coronavirus pandemic, turned out to be a real testing ground for many companies. How did ENERGETIX fare in this area?

Medifast Inc. – the parent company for DS/MLM health and wellness subsidiary OPTAVIA, reported annual revenue of $1.526 billion in 2021, a 63.2% increase over the previous year. Net income also saw enormous gains of 59.5% to equal $164 million. EPS for the year was $13.89, a 60% increase over 2020 levels.
